"THE SOWER"

This sculpture of "The Sower" is one of two pieces I've done where the subject is something that will be interesting to a lot of people. Many of the "old masters" painted and sculpted The Sower and there are a number of great artists today who've created their own versions.  You can see a "life-size" version done by Loveland, CO, artist Jane DeDecker if you go to the menu at the left side of this page...to LS4 LIFE SIZE Somerset  The idea is mentioned in the Bible several times...among them 2 Cor 9:10..."Now He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness". It's about 12" in height...perfect for a table or desktop.  I've limited the number of copies  to 20.

"NOW...CALVARY"

 "Now...Calvary" is my view of Jesus, beaten and tortured, on His way to His crucifixion.  He carried His cross Himself until the Roman soldiers forced Simon of Cyrene to carry it for Him.  In this sculpture, I've tried to show His strong, unwavering determination as He was nearing Calvary where He died for our sins...raised to life again after three days.  It's 14" in height...good for a table or desktop!  I've limited the number of copies of this sculpture to 20.  If you have an interest in learning more, please call or text me at 214-691-0001 or email me at ebernet@swbell.net.
